Postal ID Application

Postal ID is the most widely accepted means of identification in postal transactions. I never had one so I’ve decided to get one yesterday. I believe that it’s the fastest ID you can get in the Philippines for as long as you have completed the following requirements:
  • Cedula
  • 2pcs 2x2 picture with white background
  • 2 Valid IDs (any of the following)
a.      NSO Birth Certificate (if not married)
b.      Marriage Contract (if married)
c.       Driver’s License
d.      SSS ID
e.      Used or Unused Passport
f.        Senior Citizen ID
g.      New Voter’s ID
h.      PRC ID

So I first went to Manila City Hall to get a Cedula. Thank goodness the line was relatively short. I filled out a form with personal info’s like Name, Address, Birth date, and Birthplace and submitted it took me less than 5 mins. to get it and paid Php6 only.

I headed immediately to Manila Post Office and brought with me of course the Cedula that I just got, 2 copies of 2x2 picture with white background, NBI Clearance, NSO Birth Certificate, SSS ID, Passport. I’m kind of the “obsessive-compulsive” need to be prepared before going into anything. Haha. But yea.. At least you have 2 of the requirements. Oh! Make sure you have your documents photocopied.

Here are the steps on getting a Postal ID:
  1.    Proceed to window 261 and ask for a form. It’s FREE! Fill in the upper half portion with your personal data and 2x2 pic attached together with other requirements.
  2.  After the thumb marks, you will be asked to pay the total amount of Php300. The breakdown of the cost is posted on the counter window.
  3. Wait for your name to be called to have your information on the ID checked before laminating the card.
  4. Voila! cards were issued on the same day within an hour of application.

Yay!! I finally got my very first Postal ID. :)

Postal ID card are valid for a period of 2 years from the date of issue.

Relaxed and carefree!

This top has a distinct sense of chic style. The material is so soft and it's really comfortable to wear. I love this outfit because it makes me feel at ease.

My mom is a champion thrift-er!

My mom has known as a thrift queen. She rarely buys first hand clothing. Mom and I share a love for fashion. She would always take me to thrift stores with her and buy me clothes, bags, shoes all the time.

Guess who visited last week? J

The past week was sort of perfect mix of family, and productivity. It had been too long that I haven’t gone thrift shopping. Who doesn't love bargains when it comes to clothes, bags, shoes? Thrift shopping is a good way to spend less but still get things you need. And plus thrift stores are fun and challenging at times.

I am Tricia Villar and I like my shirts under 200php and dresses under 300php.

Style Blog

It’s a great way to document your style so I thought of doing this fashion blog documenting my personal style. I think fashion is a great way for women to express themselves.

Each blogger have different motivations for posting their looks. Well, to me the best reason for this is for the enjoyment.
I love this idea and can’t wait to post my outfit ideas and get creative.
I love getting dressed and of course, photography which is my favorite thing to do is essential to the outfit posts.

I’ll take some time every now and again to update at least once a week. :)

NEW TOY!

These days a lot of new gadgets, trends and a lot simultaneously came out on the market that’s why I can’t follow them all out.

It was just yesterday that I finally got my hands on the iPhone 4! This is my very first iPhone as I’ve previously been a Samsung user. They’re beautiful devices that simplify your life! iCloud, user-friendly, clear screen, awesome camera, fun apps.
You're going to enjoy it!

It just feels impossible.

I am always stuck with what to write on my blog so I keep putting it off. I was wondering what I would write about. It's not just whether you outline or not or whether you type it the computer or write it in a notebook, or in a café or at home. It's getting to do what you want, as often as you possibly can and for as long as you can, and this will be different for everyone. I've done this before and I can do this now. As the lines in the song of 'The Carpenters' goes, "So, it's one more round for experience and I'm on the road again, and it's going to take some time this time!"

This is something that challenges me. This keeps me on the edge of my brain. I guess I just need to get my thoughts out, and keep this simple and write as I would talk. To me, this has always been a therapy, where I can write about what I'm feeling and look back on it. I'm just so very fortunate to be doing something that I love.

Anthony Villardo, You said one day, I could write a book. :) Thank you for believing in me and for providing equipment to write. I couldn't thank you enough for giving me confidence in my writing and for being the only reader/follower of my blog. Hahaha!
